Child orthodontics treatments

Anterior crossbite

Early orthodontic treatment corrected the anterior crossbite and eliminated the functional forward shift of the lower jaw. The result is an improved bite relationship, better dental alignment, and a healthier foundation for normal growth and development.

Underbite

Treatment with Rapid Maxillary Expansion (RME) and reverse headgear (facemask therapy) helped widen and advance the upper jaw, correcting the bite and improving jaw alignment. Early intervention achieved a balanced, functional bite and supported healthy facial growth.

OPENBITE AND POSTERIOR CROSSBITE

Early orthodontic treatment corrected the anterior open bite and posterior crossbite while addressing the underlying tongue thrust habit. The result is improved bite function, better dental alignment, and a more stable foundation for healthy growth and long-term oral health.

UPPER/LOWER MODERATE CROWDING

This patient presented with moderate crowding in both arches. Treatment with a Beneslider appliance created space and improved the dental relationship without the need for extractions, while lower interproximal reduction (IPR) provided additional space for alignment. Combined with orthodontic treatment, this achieved well-aligned teeth, an improved bite, and a balanced smile.

UPPER/LOWER SEVERE CROWDING

This patient presented with significant crowding in both the upper and lower arches, resulting in overlapping and misaligned teeth. Orthodontic treatment with carefully planned extractions and fixed braces created the space needed to align the teeth, improve the bite, and enhance the smile. The result is a balanced, functional occlusion and a healthier, more aesthetic dental appearance.

Teen patient with an impacted upper right canine, increased overbite and mild upper and lower crowding. Treated with surgical exposure and traction of the impacted canine, followed by upper and lower fixed braces.

This patient presented with an anterior crossbite and upper arch crowding. Treatment using a lower bite plane and fixed braces corrected the crossbite, created space for alignment, and improved the bite relationship. The result is a well-aligned smile, improved function, and a healthier, more stable occlusion.
